Or you'll miss out on the fun! (Or you'll get zapped into the past by a weeping angel. Neither one is ideal.)
This year, my goal is to participate in more live events like book signings, festivals, and conventions. A couple of weeks ago I did a small book signing at the Cumberland County Historical Society's History on High shop to promote the release of Evermore. It was a drizzly day and foot traffic was low, but I still sold a few books! And while it was quiet I was lucky enough to get a private tour of the Oddfellows Hall on the third floor. There's an excellent article by Jim Cheney about it here: https://uncoveringpa.com/odd-fellows-hall-carlisle
Going from small town to big time, May 18-19 I'll be vending at the Pennhurst Paracon, the East coast's largest paranormal expo. Loads of celebrity ghosts hunters will be there, with tours of the former Pennhurst Asylum and other events throughout the weekend. I'll be in an outside individual tent with my Atomic Raven merchandise (horror & paranormal books and oddities) as well as my own books.
In September, I'll be at the FrightReads Book Festival which is currently acquiring a new location for the event as the previous hotel they booked decided they didn't want a bunch of weirdos on their fancy premises. Look for updates later in the year!
